Freebooter Big Sky 001

The Miranda Class Freebooter, Big Sky. During the Second Battle of Chin'Toka, three Miranda Class were amongst the 310 Alliance ships lost. The Chin'Toka battlefield was declared a graveyard and access restricted. However, the huge reduction of forces after the end of the Dominion War and then the growing Borg threat from the other direction meant few loose ships for patrolling graveyards, resulting in a salvagers smorgasbord. The Big Sky was stealthily repaired in place then whisked away by many of her former crew, now at large with their dismissal during the reduction of forces. Now crewed largely by disaffected former Starfleet Personnel and a handful of dispossessed Klingons (A Klingon that survives the destruction of his ship is considered unlucky and is usually unwelcome on any other Klingon vessel.) trying to make their way as freebooters.
